I have been wanting to visit the Mohican Winterfest for quite some time, however, I didn't really plan to visit on the coldest day I can remember!!! Air temperature was about 12 with wind chills in the single digits. Great for ice, bad for visitors.
In preparation, we outfitted ourselves to the hilt with layer upon layer of clothing. A couple pair of socks (wool of course), thermals, under armor, turtle necks, sweatshirts, scarves, hats, gloves, coats, coveralls...conjures up images of Ralphie's little brother in the movie A Christmas Story doesn't it?
On top of all this, I had my camera. I just don't leave home without my camera.
It's hard to capture ice with snow in the background but hopefully you'll like what I found.
